Mind Control Programs
Many people are not aware that the US and other governments over the last 50 years and more have been involved in experiments that involve controlling and changing human behavior.
The CIA ran operations anywhere from finding out what happened to individuals under the influence of psychedelic drugs, to experiments in mental institutions that involved shocking individuals so that they could strip their minds and then reprogram those individuals to act and perform the way the government wanted.
The Canadian government recently paid out millions of dollars to victims of these experiments that ran in the 1950 in Montreal Canada.

Project MKULTRA
MK-ULTRA, was the code name for a CIA mind-control research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence, that began in the early 1950s and continued at least through the late 1960s.[1][2][3]. There is much published evidence that the project involved the surreptitious use of many types of drugs, as well as other methodology, to manipulate individual mental states and to alter brain function.[4]
Project Artichoke
Project ARTICHOKE was a CIA project that researched interrogation methods and arose from project BLUEBIRD on August 20, 1951, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence.[1]. A memorandum by Richard Helms to CIA director Allen Welsh Dulles indicated Artichoke became Project MKULTRA on April 20, 1953.
The project studied hypnosis, forced morphine addiction (and subsequent forced withdrawal), and the use of other chemicals, among other methods, to produce amnesia and other vulnerable states in subjects. Magician John Mullholland was consulted for the project.
Artichoke was an offensive program of mind control that gathered together the intelligence divisions of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and FBI. In addition, the scope of the project was outlined in a memo dated January 1952 that stated, "Can we get control of an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will and even against fundamental laws of nature, such as self preservation?"
Project Bluebird
BLUEBIRD is the cryptonym for a CIA mind control program, lasting from 1951 to 1953, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence.[1] During this time the CIA authorized experiments to be conducted by licensed psychiatrists. The experiments had various purposes, including but not limited to: creating new identities, inducing amnesia, inserting hypnotic access codes in subjects' minds, creating multiple personalities, and creating false memories.[2] The research also included placing brain electrodes in people and controlling their behavior from remote transmitters, administering dosages of LSD-25 to children aged five, and using electroconvulsive therapy to erase memories.[3]
